Congregation of Colossians

Yeshua
's (Jesus) disciples
have dressed into the new man

In Colosse people began to believe in Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, when they heard the word of God preached in the truth. Like this way, the congregation was born in Colosse, and it began to grow a good fruit, and they loved one another. Congregation of Colosse received teachings of the apostle Paul relating to how to be a disciple of Yeshua (Jesus) and fellowship of the congregation. Believers are dead to sin by Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah in the Holy Spirit and can't live any longer in sins. Consequence of this our heart dies from immorality, filth, bad desire, avarice and anger, which are serving of idols. Disciple of Yeshua (Jesus) can't speak badly about one another, because old man with its deed has undressed away and believers have dressed into the new man, which is in the Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah. Disciples of Yeshua (Jesus) are called to live holy life, and the Holy Spirit shall influence in them love, cordial, compassionate, friendly, compliant and patient

The law nailed to cross?

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

having erased the hand-signed sefer of guilt choiv (debt), the heavenly indictment against us in the maleh chukat haTorah (full statute requirement of the Torah), which was against us. Moshiach has done away with this opposing record, having nailed it to Moshiach’s Etz (DEVARIM 21:23) The Ortodox Jewish Brit Chadasha

Handwriting of ordinance, which is against us, and was an opponent to us Yeshua (Jesus) took away by way of His redemption offering and nailed handwriting to the cross. A handwriting word is in Greek text kheirografon, which means promissory note, which debtor has written with him own hands. In Hebrew, it means hand signed a guilt book. Verse 14 doesn’t so mean the law (Torah) of God, but the debt and guilt of the people, which is a sin. Yeshua (Jesus) was nailed to the cross for the sins of the mankind, but Paul wrote in this that also handwriting of ordinance (hand signed guilt book) have taken away by way of redemption offering of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah and nailed it to the cross.

Yeshua (Jesus) said that He wouldn't come to destroy the law (Torah), and therefore He couldn’t nail the law to the cross. Sin is our opponent, which nailed together with Yeshua (Jesus) to the cross. Greek text uses from the Bible two words grafee and gramma, but as we notice Greek text uses the word kheirografon. An ordinance word is in Greek dogma, which means command, setting, and regulation. Kheirografon means promissory note not the law (Torah). Hebrew uses words sefer choiv (hand signed guilt book). Our sins are nailed to the cross, not the law (Torah).

Sins of the men are nailed to the cross, and not the law (Torah) of God. Some people misunderstand this verse that the law (Torah) is nailed to the cross. Paul wrote, that when the Messiah circumcises our heart in the Holy Spirit, so believers die to sins and start to live righteously. Dead sin stays like this on the cross and the new man is free to wander according to righteousness of God. This comes true when the Holy Spirit can influence will and work in the hearts of Yeshua's (Jesus) disciples.

The bond of perfectness

Yeshua's (Jesus) disciples are called also to be forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man has a quarrel against any, they have to forgive one another, because also the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah has forgiven to us. We can forbear one another, because although we are with the same way of the faith, so we all are, however, in different growth phases in faith. Disciples have the Spirit of God's love by which they have power to forbear one another. Yeshua's (Jesus) disciples have put on the Spirit of the love, which is the bond of the perfection, so that each one can go forward to the way of the faith. And this bond of perfection, which is the love of God unite us to be one and to love one another.

General teaching

Colossians were called to the one body of the Messiah. Words of Lord Yeshua (Jesus) must be abundantly into the hearts of His disciples. Task of disciples is advising and guide one another to godly life. In the congregation of Colossians, they were singing spiritual songs praising of the bottom of their heart for Lord Yeshua (Jesus). The wives of the congregation of Colossians must be subjects to their husbands and also the husbands must love their wives. Husbands can't be bitter towards their wives. To children must teach obedience towards their parents. Parents must not provoke their children, that they may not be disheartened. All what disciples are going to make on the word or work, intention is making all as on the heart as they would make it to God. Disciples' prayer is enduring when the Holy Spirit can rule their hearts. With this way, there is grateful mind toward God.

Disciples wandering is wise also towards unbelievers, this kind of wise wandering bring the ability to take the right moment for salvation of unbelievers. Disciples' speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man. The salting must ask wisdom from God, because the mission of the gospel is not beat people, but get people see their sins and wounds. That Yeshua (Jesus) can forgive theirs sins and then get them good and tender care, which makes from people children of God, who can live their life through the power of the righteousness.
